Fatima (Fa) Valer

The intersection of digital and physical tools drives many of my projects as a design researcher. I am passionate about merging design tools with discarded knowledge and insights from diverse fields, collaborating with anthropologists, sociologists, engineers, artists, and entrepreneurs. As an innovation strategist, I specialize in crafting solutions that optimize resources and adapt to evolving market demands, creating impactful proposals for organizations and communities.

With a background in communications and industrial design, my research focuses on leveraging biomaterials, organic materials, and digital tools such as coding programs. After completing my MFA in Design Research at BAU (Barcelona), I have split my time between consulting for Wayra Hispam and pursuing my own design work. I am currently based in Barcelona, Spain.
